TLIO's AIMS. TLIO campaigns peacefully for access to the land, its resources, and the decision-making processes affecting them, for everyone, irrespective of race, gender or age. Our aims are laid out in more detail in the essay on the TLIO Aims page. In brief these aims are: Land for homes: space for low-cost and self-designed housing in cities; places for travellers and low impact settlers in the countryside. Land for life: protection and reclamation of common space; reform of planning and public enquiries; mandatory land registration; community ground rents; a right to roam. Land for livelihoods: farming without catastrophe; subsidies and planning for small scale, high employment, low-consumption land uses.
